Workshop Description – Half Day

Social Media tools, like Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter, are the most convenient ways to keep in touch and share with others your personal life but they can also be dynamic and powerful marketing tools for your business and projects as well.

This half day, hands-on workshop is a practical introduction to Social Media Marketing – Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Twitter to connect, and engage with your customers – and convert potential customers and learn of opportunities to build community and brand awareness.

Phyllis Garland will teach you how to make them work for you by providing you with a valuable workbook, tips, and tools on how to maximize your business exposure using social media.

PREREQUISITES: This course is not for absolute beginners – some familiarity with social media recommended. Laptops are optional – Computers (PC) are provided in the computer lab.
